Mom's - Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
  • 2 tsp. beef bouillon granules
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 10¾ oz. can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 2 4½ oz. cans sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 to 1½ lb. beef stew meat
  • 2 Tbsp. veg. oil
  • 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, cubed
  • hot cooked noodles
Steps
  1. In a small cooker, dissolve bouillon in water.
  2. Add soup, mushrooms, onion, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. In a skillet brown the stew meat in oil.
  4. Transfer to the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low 7 to 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
  6. Stir in cream cheese until smooth.
  7. Serve over hot noodles.
