Ingredients
- subheading: DOUGH:
- 1 and ¼ cups warm water (110 to 115°F)
- 1 package ( 2 and ¼ teaspoon) active dry yeast
- 1 Tbsp granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened and divided
- ¼ cup Olive oil, plus more for greasing the pan and brushing
- 3 and ¼ cups all purpose flour, plus more as needed
- ½ cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 and ½ teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1 recipe of my Homemade Pizza Sauce
- subheading: OPTIONAL TOPPINGS FOR BOTH PIZZAS:
- Sliced or shredded mozzarella cheese (4 cups if using shredded)
- Sliced Provolone Cheese
- Pepperoni Slices
- 2 Ib. Hot Italian Sausage, uncooked and torn into pieces
- Parmesan Cheese, for topping
- Other options: sautéed vegetables, tomatoes, chicken, sliced mushrooms, anchovies, cooked and crumbled bacon, sliced peppers
