Vegan Goulash (American Style)
  • 1 medium onion peeled and diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2-3 cups vegetables like green peppers, zucchini, or mushrooms
  • 2 cup vegan sausage or vegan beef crumbles
  • 25 oz jar spaghetti sauce
  • 28 oz can crushed tomatoes (1 large can or 2 small cans)
  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1 tbsp Sugar (optional to taste)
  • 2 cups macaroni pasta or any other small pasta
  • 1 cup vegan mozzarella cheese optional for melting on top
