Sour Cream Pound Cake
Butter your tube pan well with softened butter. If there are nooks and crannies that are difficult to get to, give the pan a quick spray with cooking spray before flouring.

Ingredients
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground mace or ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • confectioners' sugar, or as needed
