Ingredients
  • 4 c. Green Beans, washed and trimmed of stems
  • 1 T. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 t. minced Garlic
  • 1 T. Lemon zest (about one large lemon)
  • 2 T. Sliced Almonds, toasted
Steps
  1. Place Green beans into a steamer, fill bottom of large pan with water, cover and steam just until beans are crisp tender. Remove beans and steamer from pan and empty out the water. Dry the pan.
  2. Place the olive oil in the pan to heat up over medium heat and then sauté the garlic for 30 seconds, add the zest and toss with the garlic. Add the beans and toss until coated. Place in a bowl and sprinkle with the Almonds. Serve.
