  • ⅓ cup water
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 Tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 Tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch plus 1 extra Tablespoon of water mixed into the cornstarch to create a paste
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ inch fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic
