Pearl's Meatballs
Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ lb. mashed kabocha
  • 1 tbsp. coconut aminos
  • Chopped scallions
Steps
  1. Pumpkinized meatballs! Because pumpkins. Well, Japanese pumpkins  , which means kabocha squash.
  2. It brought my meatballs to a different texture & flavor level.
  3. All I did was dump together all the ingredients.
  4. Roll in balls or patty-fy  . Pan fry.
  5. (TIP  ‍ : fry a little bit to check flavor. Adjust as needed before cooking the entire mixture.)
  6. They were so moist and yummy! Husband, daughter, & friend approved.    The balls were perfect in my soups, salads, noodles, and as a snack. I wish I made more than 2 lbs.!
