Hot Chili Pepper Pickled Eggs (Joe Jost's Pub Recipe)
Ingredients
  • 12 boiled eggs (cage free/organic)
  • subheading: pickling liquid:
  • 1 jar 12 ounces yellow chili peppers (and their liquid) Mezzetta brand is what I used
  • 4 cups distilled white vinegar
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons pickling spice
  • 1 tablespoon granulated white sugar
  • 1 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon tumeric (optional) gives the pickled eggs a pretty yellow color!
