  • 8 thick slices of pork or bacon
  • 4 tbsp fat drippings
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1-2 cups of milk
  1. Fry 8 thick slices of side pork or bacon in a pan until crisp. Set aside but keep it warm.
  2. Measure 4 tablespoons of the fat drippings and pour back into the pan
  3. Add flour, then brown a bit.
  4. Take out from the heat and add milk., stirring well to blend and scrape the savory bits.
  5. Return to a low heat and stir until the gravy is smooth and creamy.
