Debbie’s Amish Buttermilk Pie

1 unbaked 9” pie crust
3 eggs
1 stick Softened Butter
1 1/2 C Sugar or 1 C Splenda
Pinch of salt
3 Tbs Flour
1 C Buttermilk
1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
1 Tbs Lemon Juice
1/8 tsp Fresh Nutmeg
1/8 tsp Cinnamon

Preheat oven to  350 degrees.  Keep pie crust aside unbaked.  Beat eggs till they
turn a buttery color.  Add Sugar or Splenda, salt, softened butter and flour and
beat until it looks light and fluffy, like cake batter.   Blend in Buttermilk one half cup
at a time, then add Vanilla Extract and Lemon Juice.  Once well incorporated,
pour into pie shell and sprinkle Nutmeg and Cinnamon over the top.  Bake in
oven for 50-60 minutes and check for jiggle, for doneness and not tacky on the
top.  Let cool for at least an hour and enjoy.
