Buckwheat & Cheddar Stuffed Acorn

  • ⅓ cup balsamic vinegar

  • ½ cup dried tart red cherries
  • 1 cup uncooked buckwheat groats
  • 4 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (1 cup)
  • ½ cup chopped toasted pecans
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh sage
