Rancher's Texas Chili Recipe (Chili Con Carne)
Ingredients

  • 3 ½ to 4 pounds stew meat (or chuck roast cut into 1 to 1¼ inch chunks)
  • 2 tablespoons EACH: oil AND Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 poblano peppers, diced (or bell peppers)
  • 1 to 5 jalapeños, minced
  • 8 to 12 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 4 cups beef broth*
  • 1 (14-ounce can) tomato sauce
  • 2 (14-ounce) cans rinsed/drained pinto beans (OPTIONAL)
