Manju (Japanese Steamed Cake) 利休饅頭
Ingredients
  • ½ cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 3 Tbsp water
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp water (for mixing with baking powder)
  • 1 cup cake flour (plus more for dusting)
  • 8.5 oz red bean paste (anko) (I used "koshian" fine paste)
