  • 1 cup packed, chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup grated hard Italian cheese, like Parmesan, pecorino or grana Padano
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 4 ounces fresh goat or sheep’s milk cheese, crumbled
