Ingredients
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can of coconut milk
  • Shredded coconut-optional
Steps
  1. Boil 2 cups sugar with 1 cup water
  2. Simmer until it's a thick syrup, about 15 minutes.
  3. Add the coconut milk and simmer until it's your desired thickness.
Notes
  • Homemade coconut syrup is so much better than store bought, and really easy to make. It also is much less expensive and less "high fructose corn syrup"-y.
