Sloppy José (via cruisecontrolx on reddit)
Sloppy joe mixed with a quesadilla
Ingredients
  • subheading: Sloppy Joe:
  • tomato paste
  • mustard (spicy brown & plain yellow)
  • brown sugar
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic
  • half a diced onion
  • half a diced bell pepper
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • chili powder
  • paprika and possibly a few other spices,
  • beef broth
  •
  • subheading: Creamy Jalapeño Sauce:
  • mayo
  • eggs
  • olive oil
  • lime juice
  • salt)
  • taco seasoning--
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons hot smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • black pepper
  • cilantro/cilantro seeds
  • garlic
  • Mexican hot sauce
  •
  • tortillas
Steps
  1. Throw together sloppy joe ingredients with some beef broth and let it simmer until the vegetables were soft.
  2. Mix creamy jalapeño sauce ingredients together. Then you just whisk it together. You can use plain store bought mayo, it'll still be as shittily delicious as Taco Bell's.
Notes
  • taco seasoning blend is basically Alton Brown's Taco Potion #19 with a couple of add ons.
