  • 2 bay leaves, fresh or dried
  • 1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup uncooked quinoa, rinsed if desired
  • 3 tablespoons agave nectar, plus more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cider vinegar, plus more to taste
