Scallion Pork Chops (葱烤大排)
Ingredients

  • 1½ tablespoon cornstarch - mixed with 3 tablespoon water
  • ¼ teaspoon ground white pepper
  • subheading: For cooking:
  • 2 tablespoon neutral cooking oil
  • 15 stalks scallions - cut into halves
  • 4 tablespoon Shaoxing rice wine
  • 2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar - or to taste
  • 4 tablespoon hot water
