  • ¼ medium bunch fresh parsley
  • 3 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1 pound raw hot italian sausage
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 pound dried rigatoni pasta
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
