  • 1 ½ tablespoons sambal oelec or Asian chili sauce
  • ¼ cup ( 60 ml) soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 ½ tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar or rice vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ⅛ teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with ¾ cup water
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
