Grandma Ruth's Spaghetti Sauce
Ingredients
  • 1 Spaghetti Squash cut in half and roasted at 350 degrees cut side down until soft (30 to 40 mins) or pasta of choice cooked Al Dente
  • subheading: Sauce:
  • ¼ lb Smoked Bacon cut in ¼" pieces
  • 1 lb of Old Time Grass Fed lean Ground Beef (or ground Heritage Turkey)
  • dash of salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 medium Sweet Onion chopped
  • 1 stalk of celery chopped
  • 4 cloves of Garlic minced
  • 4 oz Mushrooms (fresh or canned)
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes (14 to 15 oz)
  • 1 can Tomato Paste (6 oz)
  • Water - use 1 ½ cans full of the tomato paste container
  • Approximately 2 to 3 Tablespoons Worchestershire sauce
  • Approximately 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
