  • Before going vegan I was a huge steak lover, thinking about it now it’s a little disturbing. That being said there is no reason to not enjoy a delicious piece of vegan steak. That why I came up with this beauty of a recipe. It’s easy, delicious, and not to mention the marinade…ohh, the marinade.

  • ½ cup vegetable stock
  • ½ cup mashed white beans
  • 1 ¼ cup vital wheat gluten flour
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp nooch
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 ½ garlic powder
  • 1 ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  •  
  • subheading: Marinade:
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp agave
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp ground black pepper

  • oil for frying
  • 4 tbsp oil for frying
  • 3 tbsp non dairy butter
  • 8 to 10 sprigs of thyme
  • 6 cloves of garlic, smashed but not peeled
