Ingredients
- 1 pint Oysters with liquor
- 2 cups Saltine Cracker Crumbs
- ½ cup melted butter
- ¾ cup half and half cream
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Black Pepper to taste
Steps
- Heat oven to 350°
- Drain Oysters reserving ¼ cup liquor.
- Combine cracker crumbs and butter. Spread ⅓ of crumbs in pan.
- Cover with ½ of the oysters and sprinkle with pepper.
- Layer ⅓ cracker crumbs and layer with remaining half of oysters and sprinkle with pepper.
- Combine cream, oyster liquor, salt and worcestershire.
- Pour cream mixture over oysters and top with remaining cracker crumbs.
- Bake @ 350° for 40 minutes.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- This recipe is for an 8 x 8 pan. You can double this recipe and put in a 9 x 13 pan.
