Ingredients
  • Small pretzels
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • Chocolate chips
Steps
  1. Line a 4-sided jelly roll pan with foil. Cover with a single layer of pretzels.
  2. Melt two sticks of butter in a small saucepan. Add one cup brown sugar and stir together. Boil just a little and keep stirring until it gets darker. *you want to let it cook just to the point that you think you may have ruined it. That’s when the sticky magic happens.
  3. Pour syrup over pretzels. Bake at 375o for about 7 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and put chocolate chips on. Put it back in the oven for another minute to melt the chocolate. Use a rubber spatula to spread the chocolate.
  5. Sprinkle generously with sea salt. Cool a bit on the counter, then pop into the freezer for an hour, or until you remember it’s in there.
  6. Break apart into bite sized pieces. Enjoy! Better than crack.
