Ingredients
  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 Tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon powdered ginger
  • Add the remaining ingredients and heat to a boil, whisking constantly. Once the mixture boils, turn down the heat and cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens a bit. If the sauce is too thick, whisk in a bit more broth.
  • 1.25 cups vegetable broth
  • 3 Tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ⅛ to 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (depending on how spicy you like your sauces)
