Servings: Makes 6 dozen. I typically get 3 dozen with the size I make.

1 c. Butter - softened 1 c. Butter - softened
2 c. Sugar 2 c. Sugar
1 c. Oil 1 c. Oil
2 Eggs 2 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla 1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Salt 1 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Soda 2 tsp. Soda
5 c. Flour 5 c. Flour

Preheat oven to 375°
Beat butter, sugar, and oil until thick. Mix in eggs and beat really well. Mix in all other ingredients.
Form a ball and mash down with a glass dipped in sugar. Re-dip sugar and put more on each cookies.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
