¼ cup sugar

½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened and cut into small chunks

1 large egg yolk

2 tablespoons heavy cream (note: I didn’t have this so I used 1 tablespoon of milk; the dough was a little hard to manage)

Pad of butter (for greasing the pie pan)

2 large eggs

3 large egg whites

1 cup sugar

1 ½ teaspoons lemon zest

½ cup lemon juice

Powdered sugar, for dusting
