Ingredients
- 2 turkey legs or wings (about 3 to 3½ lbs)
- ½ cup butter
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 large onion, sliced and separated into rings
- ½ cup celery (diagonally sliced)
Steps
- Brown turkey in butter in large pan. Add garlic, onion, celery and carrots. Sauté until onions are soft. Cover with water and simmer for about 2 hour or until turkey is very tender.
- Place turkey and vegetables into a serving dish (thicken juice by adding 2 to 3 Tbsp flour which has been stirred into ¼ cup water). Heat and stir until it boils. Pour gravy over mashed potatoes and turkey and vegetables.
