The Ultimate Shrimp Lo Mein
Ingredients
  • 1 lb large shrimp ( peeled and deveined)
  • ½ lime or lemon (juice)
  • 400 g Lo Mein Noodles (I used fresh)
  • 1 ½ tablespoon stir fry (spicy) oil
  • 1 ½ tablespoon veg oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (diced fine or crushed)
  • 2 onions (sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • ½ large red, green and orange bell pepper (cut into wedges)
  • 10 to 15 mushroom (white button)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 ½ tablespoon Chinese cooking wine
  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
  • 1 ¼ tablespoon Hoisin Sauce
  • 2 scallions (chopped)
