Sausage Pizza Pasta by Instantloss (Brittany Williams)
Gluten free, dairy free
Ingredients
  • 1 large Onion diced
  • 1 lb Pork Sausage
  • 1 tbsp Dried Minced Onion
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Red Pepper
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1½ cups Gluten Free Pasta
  • 1 14oz can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 14oz can Tomato Sauce
Steps
  1. Press the sauté button
  2. Once it says hot add the diced onion (do not add oil)
  3. Saute onion for a couple of minutes and then add the pork
  4. Once the pork is cooked about ⅔ add the dried minced onion, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt , pepper and stir throughly
  5. Sauté a few more minutes until the pork is fully cooked
  6. Press the cancel button
  7. Add 1 cup of water (1 ½ cups if using an 8 quart Instant Pot)
  8. Add pasta and spread it out DO NOT STIR
  9. Cover pasta with the diced tomatoes and tomato sauce DO NOT STIR!
  10. Put on lid and press the manual/pressure-cook button and set time for 6 minutes high pressure.
  11. Once the time is up do a quick release
  12. Stir and enjoy!
Notes
  • Omit red pepper flakes if you don’t like spice.
