Instant Pot Jasmine Rice
Ingredients
  • 2 cups Jasmine rice
  • 2.5 cups water
Steps
  1. Rinse and drain rice.
  2. Place rice and water directly in Instant Pot OR in another pot (pot-in-pot). See note.
  3. Manual, High Pressure, 4 minutes. 10 minute natural release.
Notes
  • For other quantities, maintain rice to water ratio of 1:1.25. 4 minutes seems to be correct for anything 1 to 4 cups.
  • For pot-in-pot, ensure there's enough liquid directly in the instant pot. Pot-in-pot is convenient if you're cooking something else below the rice pot.
