Ingredients
  • 1 ½ Tbsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar

  • ½ Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 4 pound boneless pork shoulder roast (aka Boston Butt roast)
  • 2 cups apple juice
  • ⅔ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ Tbsp liquid smoke
  • 1 ¼ cups BBQ sauce (I like to use Bullseye)
