  • subheading: Beef Kebab:
  • 2½ pounds New York Strip Steak boneless
  • 1 whole Red Onion cut in chunks
  • 1 whole Red Pepper cut in chunks

Steps
  1. subheading: Marinade:
  2. In a mixing bowl add Olive Oil, Soy Sauce, White Wine Vinegar, Honey, Worcestershire Sauce, Spice Seasoning of your choice. Whisk together and set aside.
  3. Cut your steak into 1 to 1¼ inch pieces. Make sure to trim off large pieces of fat. (don't trim off too much fat because you want to have some for flavor),
  4. Place the cubes of Beef and the Marinade into a Ziploc bag and place into the fridge for 3 hours up to 24 hours.
  5. When ready to assemble the Kebabs, take them out of the fridge while preparing the vegetables.
  6. subheading: Kebabs:
  7. Cut the Onion, Green Peppers, and Red Peppers into 1 inch squares and set aside.
  8. Start to assemble the Kebabs on the skewers that come with the Kebab Accessory.
  9. **It is important to make sure to place the skewers in a balanced and symmetrical way around the cage. There are 10 skewers, so make sure if you use less than 10, you space them evenly around the carousel.**
  10. On the skewer, alternate the Beef with a piece of Vegetable.
  11. Thread the Rotisserie Spit that came with the Vortex Plus through the holes in the Carousel. Make sure the metal piece where you will insert the screws, are towards the outside. Screw the screws that come with the Vortex Plus spit in order to hold the carousel in place.
  12. Insert the pointy ends of the skewers into the holes on the carousel and the rounded ends snap into the spaces in between.
  13. Place the Kebab Accessory into the Vortex Plus. Make sure that none of the food is touching the heating element at the top.
  14. Close the door and press "ROAST". Set the Temperature to 400 degrees F for 10 to 15 minutes. If the Rotisserie does not automatically start to turn, press the "ROTATE" button.
  15. Once the Beef Kebabs are done cooking, use the Rotisserie Fork to remove the Spit and place on a cutting board.
  16. Allow to sit for 3 minutes then remove from skewers and sprinkle with a little Salt and Pepper if needed.
