Turmeric Golden Milk Recipe
Ingredients
  • 1 to 2 ounces of full fat oat milk, cow's milk, or coconut milk
  • ½ to 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • pinch each black pepper, ginger (or more!), nutmeg & cardamom powder
  • honey, maple syrup, or keto sugar to taste.

  • optional additions: maca, cinnamon, powdered freeze dried blueberries, ashwagandha powder, astragalus powder

  • Because the milk and sweetener can be a bit much for me in a large mug,
  • I prefer mine strong, small, and sweet stirred into a mini espresso mug.
  • The pictured recipe has extra ginger, Ceylon cinnamon, and about 30% powdered freeze dried blueberries. (I bought freeze dried blueberries at the grocery store and ground them in a bullet blender.)
  • Turmeric offers many health benefits, but my main reason for consuming it is the general anti-inflammatory benefits, especially when paired with fellow spices ginger and cinnamon. It also supports healthy detoxification, cardiovascular health, nervous system function, and mood.
