Lemon Meringue Pie

Ingredients
  • Lemon Jello, cook & serve **(use 6 egg yolks)**
  • Jiffy pie crust mix, roll to half the normal thickness
  • 6 egg whites, beat until stiff
  • 1 Tbsp sugar, for meringue
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar, for meringue
Steps
  1. Make pie crust, but roll to ½ the normal thickness. Bake & set aside.
  2. Make pudding with 6 yolks, Pour into pie crust.
  3. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar and cream of tartar, beat until shiny.
  4. Layer white on pudding, covering completely.
  5. Bake until top is browned.
