Sour dough starter Buttermilk Biscuits
Ingredients
  • 2 ¼ cups plus 2 tablespoons flour.
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder.
  • 1 teaspoons sugar.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda.
  • 1 teaspoon salt.
  • 8 tablespoons cold butter, cut into small cubes.
  • 1 ¼ starter discard.(Sour dough starter )
  • A little milk if it looks too dry.
Steps
  1. Blend all the ingredients together.
  2. Dump the dough onto a floured surface and roll it about a half inch thick.
  3. Cut the dough into round circles with my favorite cutter. You could use a round glass.
  4. Put the uncooked biscuits on a greased cookie sheet.
  5. Set your oven for 350 degrees and cook for 15 minutes.
  6. They should rise up and be a little brown on the top.
