7-layer Mexican Dip
Ingredients
  • 1 can Frito Lay bean dip
  • 2 avocados, mashed
  • 1 T lemon juice
  • ¼ t pepper
  • ¾ C sour cream
  • ¼ C mayo
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1 bunch of scallions, chopped fine
  • 1 to 2 medium tomatoes, chopped (drain juice also)
  • 1 can large pitted black olives, chopped fine
  • 8 oz bag mild shredded cheddar cheese
  • tortilla chips
Steps
  1. Prepare in an oven-safe bowl if you want to serve it hot. (Heat at 350 just long enough to melt the cheese)
  2. subheading: Layer the ingredients as follows:
  3. Bean dip
  4. Avocados, mashed with the lemon juice and the pepper.
  5. Sour cream, mayo and taco seasoning mix, combined.
  6. scallions
  7. tomatoes
  8. olives
  9. cheese
  10. Serve with tortilla chips.
