  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • 2 cups of water salt to taste
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 2 dried red chilies
  • ½ tsp white Bengal gram dal
  • 2 strands of curry leaves
  • ¼ tsp asafoetida
  • cilantro to garnish
