Chicken Parmesan Crescent Bombs

I'm a full-time working Mom of 3 boys. Cooking for me is something I enjoy but, with picky eaters, it's sometimes stressful. I like to try new recipes several times a month and am on a weight loss journey, so this seems like the perfect place and app for me to use to help organize my recipes.

8 ounces Crescent rolls

4 ounces mozzarella cubed, or shredded

2 to 3 whole breaded chicken patties cooked, cut into fourths

½ cup marinara sauce

8 leaves fresh basil *optional

2 tablespoons butter unsalted, melted

¾ teaspoon Italian seasoning divided

½ teaspoon garlic powder
