Perfect frugal and delicious way to serve leftover steak.
Ingredients
  • subheading: Second-Day Steak:
  • 1 large onion, sliced onions.
  • 2 to 4 tbsp butter or margarine.
  • 1 to 2 cups leftover steak, cut into but size cubes
  • Variation: also can add a sliced green pepper if desired
Steps
  1. Second-Day Steak: Slice a gener-
  2. ous amount of onions. Saute in butter
  3. or margarine. Add leftover steak to
  4. skillet and cover with the sauteed
  5. onions. Cover and cook over low heat
  6. until the meat is heated through
  7. Serve as a hero sandwich on a bun, or over mashed potatoes, or over cheesy grits.
