Ingredients

- 1 large onion, sliced onions.
- 2 to 4 tbsp butter or margarine.
- 1 to 2 cups leftover steak, cut into but size cubes
- Variation: also can add a sliced green pepper if desired
Steps
- Second-Day Steak: Slice a gener-
- ous amount of onions. Saute in butter
- or margarine. Add leftover steak to
- skillet and cover with the sauteed
- onions. Cover and cook over low heat
- until the meat is heated through
- Serve as a hero sandwich on a bun, or over mashed potatoes, or over cheesy grits.
