Ingredients
  • 2½ cups soft wheat flour
  • note: Soft wheat must be packed into measuring cup for correct measurements
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • ½ tap. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 tbsp. honey
  • 1 stick butter, melted
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350⁰F .
  2. In a mixing bowl stir together dry ingredients.
  3. Add liquids to dry ingredients and stir until dough forms a ball.
  4. Divide dough into two equal portions.
  5. Roll dough in the shape of a rectangle between two pieces of parchment paper until its as thin as a pie crust. Remove the top piece of parchment paper.
  6. Use pastry cutter to cut dough into 2-inch squares.
  7. Prick each square twice with a fork diagonally..
  8. Slide parchment paper and dough onto a cookie sheet.
  9. Bake for approx. 18 minutes.
  10. Remove from cookie sheet and onto cooling racks.
  11. Cool completely then break into pieces and store in an air tight container.
