Mixed Seafood Burger with Horseradish Tartar Sauce

  • 3 eggs, separated
  • ½ cup (120 ml) panko, or regular breadcrumbs
  • ½ red chili
  • 3 tbsp (42 g) butter for frying
  • 3 tbsp (45 ml) neutral oil for frying

  • iceberg lettuce
  • tomatoes
  • onion
  • pickle
  • salt and pepper
  • subheading: Tartar Sauce:
  • 1 shallot
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) parsley
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) capers
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) sour cream
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) horseradish sauce
