Krispy Kreme Peach Cobbler
Ingredients
  • 2 16oz bags frozen peach slices
  • ¾ cup brown sugar (separated ½ and ¼)
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • Splash of water
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 eggs
  • Cinnamon
  • Nutmeg
  • 2 dozen Krispy Kreme glazed donuts
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees
  2. Add 2 bags of peach slices (save a few for topping), ½ cup of brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg in a large saucepan
  3. Cook it over medium heat for about 10 minutes
  4. Mix corn starch and a little bit of water, add it to the peach mixture to thicken the sauce
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, evaporated milk, eggs, ¼ brown sugar, and cinnamon. Mix well.
  6. Cut up donuts and put them in custard mixture for 5 minutes to soak
  7. Transfer your cooked peach mixture to a baking pan, then transfer donuts on top.
  8. subheading: DO NOT pour the custard mixture into the pan:
  9. Add reserved peach slices to top, and bake for about 20 min or until set
