  • 1 medium cinnamon stick (or 2 teaspoons cinnamon powder)
  • 1 teaspoon clove
  • ½ Tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 Tablespoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons pepper
  • 1 pound beef chuck roast
  • 1 pound short ribs (bone-in)
