One Pan Chicken Piccata Orzo
Ingredients
  • 2 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts cut in half to form cutlets; pound thinner as desired
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder or as needed to season the chicken
  • ½ cup All Purpose Flour or more as needed to dredge the chicken
  • 4 tbsp Butter divided
  • 4 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil divided
  • 1 Shallot minced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1.5 cups Orzo uncooked
  • 3 cups Chicken Broth more as needed
  • ½ cup White Wine dry
  • 1 Lemon juice and zest
  • 2 tbsp Capers more to serve if desired
  • ¼ cup Fresh Parsley chopped
  • Parmesan Cheese freshly grated to serve if desired
