Norwegian Sour Cream Cake
Ingredients
  • 1 cup (16 tablespoons, 227g) butter, salted or unsalted, at room temperature, at least 65°F*
  • 2 cups (397g) sugar
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon salt*
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons vanilla, to taste
  • 4 cups (482g) King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 ½ cups (340g) sour cream, at room temperature
  • note: Increase the salt to 1 ½ teaspoons if you use unsalted butter.
