Ingredients
  • Debi Cox "Sunburgers: (Tandi Hartle's) 6 c. water, 6 c. oats, ½ Tb. parsley, 1 tsp. thyme, 1 tsp. basil, ½ tsp. marjoram, ¼ c. dried minced onion, ½ tsp. garlic powder, ½ c. nutritional yeast, 2 tsp. light miso, ⅓. c. low sodium soy sauce. This makes about 20 burgers or so. Bring water, soy sauce and all spices to a boil, when water is boiling add oats and stir until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and let cool 10 minutes. Preheat oven to 350. Shape into patties and bake 20 to 25 minutes. They freeze VERY well so you can save them in freezer bags and use as needed. **These are a family favorite and even my extended family loves them too. Enjoy."
