Potato Rosti: the Original Swiss Recipe

1kg potatoes

1 teaspoon cornflour or arrowroot

¼ cup Parmesan Cheese

5 to 6 slices speck (or bacon)

5 to 6 cheese slices (Swiss is nice - but any will do)

Salt & pepper to taste

Garlic powder or minced garlic to taste
