  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¾ cup whole wheat pastry flour , white whole wheat flour, or gluten-free flour (such as brown rice flour)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts (optional)
