Joy of Cooking Apple Crisp

Ingredients
  • 4 cups apples, cored and sliced, or other fruit such as plums, sugared rhubarb, cherries
  • 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice or Kirsch
  •  
  • subheading: Topping:
  • ½ Cup Flour
  • ½ Cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • ¼ Cup Butter
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Place fruit into 9 inch pie pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice/kirsch.
  3. Gently crumble topping together and sprinkle on fruit.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes
